New York City Transit President Demetrius Crichlow named the newborn baby girl found in the heart of Manhattan the “Miracle on 34th Street.” The SGTJ Supportive Community calls her “Destiny Child.”

A Prayer for The Destiny Child

Almighty God,
We thank You for the life of this precious child whom You have kept safe—
now held in the heart of the community.
May she grow in grace, protected by Your love, and surrounded by compassion.
Let her story be a beacon of hope for all who feel lost, ---
and a reminder that no soul is ever forgotten by You.
We glorify You, Lord, for turning tragedy into testimony,
and for giving us the honor of naming her Destiney Child—
committed into Your holy hands to continue Your divine miracle in her life, 
as a child You have destined for Your purpose.
